Little Liddy

So our little girl is finally here. 

I never thought that nine months could feel so long and be so hard. 

although I loved my first year of marriage this last year has been very hard with being pregnant. 

my self esteem was defiantly affected. 

It made me not really like myself, or what I was doing. 

well the lack of what I was doing. 

Liddy is such a sweet little girl. 

She has made me feel like I was worth something again. 

although this week has been difficult with her, 

I would not change having her for anything in this world. 

I never knew that this love that I feel for her could ever exist. 

Me and Jared are having a blast watching her grow. 

She is a great sleeper. 

never really good at eating, but that is getting better. 

LOVES to cuddle (just like her Daddy) 

When she was first born Jared said that she looked like a little black baby with white skin.

  

She has defiantly looking more like Jared and I more every day. 

So far she has Jared's eyes.

I hope that they stay that way.

Delivery went good. 

well for the most part. 

Our poor little girl was very stressed, 

I had to roll from one side to the other about every half hour to keep her heart rate from flattening out at 140. 

from the very beginning of labor her heart rate was not fluctuating.

This was not good. 

we were told very early in the morning that if it did not start fluctuating we would have to have a c-section

the second the nurse left the room I started crying. 

But our little girl, being the stinker she is, pulled through and we had a fairly normal delivery. 

To keep her from being too stressed they put me on oxygen.

for the most part it wasn't that bad, except when the contractions got really strong.

then  I felt like I couldn't breath because the air would get hot. 

At first Jared and I were very nervous to hold her,

but now we have a hard time putting her down.

We love being parents.
